Cralusso Floats

The Cralusso Bolo float has been developed for specific use on Bolognese rods but will suit any running line set up.
It requires setting up for left or right directional current.
This can be achieved in seconds by changing the top wire and does not need rigs to be broken down.
This feature, the specially angled stem and the hydro-dynamic body design will allow you to hold back hard without the float drifting in across the current.
In a good flow, the Bolo can virtually be stopped and held in position — absolutely brilliant!

The Cralusso Bubble float has been developed primarily for use on the pole but can also be used successfully on the long rod.
The Bubble retains some of the streamline design features of the famous Torpedo and can therefore be held back hard with the flow having little adverse effect.
It is ideal for running through the swim at your chosen speed and can be dotted down to provide the ultimate in performance and sensitivity. This float should not be underestimated. It performs brilliantly and has been the choice of a number of international teams.
It has the advantages of both traditional oval and flat floats, being effectively two in one.

The Rocket has an innovative attachment method and dimpled body surface that gives exceptional flying ability.
A feature of the floats is the method for adjusting the sensitivity and there is no other float of that can be adjusted more precisely, simply and quickly in terms of weighting.
Additional tops are included that can be quickly changed to suit the conditions.
The floats are manufactured from tried and tested polyurethane which has very similar density properties to balsa but is much stronger.

These flat floats were used by Alan Scothorne when winning the gold medal in the World championships in 2004.
They were also used by the Hungarians when winning the team gold medal.
The innovative design of the Cralusso Torpedo flat float offers significant advantages over other flat pole floats.
The Torpedo overcomes problems often associated with this style of fishing.
It does not ride up in the water or vibrate in turbulent or windy conditions because the pressure of flowing water holds the body down in line with the flow, ensuring a very stable and sensitive presentation.

The Cralusso UFO is attached to the line in the traditional way but it incorporates a calibration system that provides a very simple but highly affective, speedy and precise weight adjustment.

The Surf float is supplied with two stems and top wires (for use in either left or right flow), three paddle shaped bristles in different colours and the correct silicone tube for making the rigs.
Even in a light flow, rigs can be held in a position well beyond the rod top and trotting whilst holding back with a constant pressure – such as when using a centre pin – will see rigs travelling downstream in a true line without drag. In tests this was even achieved in a strong downstream wind. Being able to use rod and reel can be a major advantage on busy towpaths and when large bonus fish are a possibility. This float will not only be of interest to match anglers. It should also become a valuable asset to pleasure and specialist anglers, who will now find it possible to roll or place even big baits (such as meat) very accurately and into previously inaccessible areas.”

The polyurethane material chosen for manufacture of the bodies of all Cralusso floats will not take on water, so minor surface damage will not lead to adverse performance. Floats are supplied with comprehensive instructions.
