The only predictable thing about carp fishing is how unpredictable it can be. However, if there is one method that will work when all else fails "THE METHOD" has got to be it. It was originally developed by anglers who fished prolific venues and needed to differentiate between line and genuine bites, but is now being used with great success to catch large carp even on difficult waters.

FOX have developed what we consider to be the first totally safe in line feeder ever produced thanks to a number of special features. Used with special stiff mix ground bait this feeder can be deadly on its day - when all else fails. The large bore tubing allows the safe passage of shock leaders reducing the chance of breaking off when casting long distances. A rubber safety sleeve allows a fixed rig to created, greatly increasing the chance of self hooking. However, should the feeder become detached from the main line the swivel can pull free providing the ultimate safety rig.

As carp fishing continues to grow in popularity, actually catching carp has become more difficult. One of the most effective ways of catching the carp off guard and achieving an advantage over other anglers is with careful line concealment.

Down Rigger backleads are designed to keep the mainline pinned down, close to the lakebed where it cannot be seen or picked up by the carp. The weight attaches to the line by a clip and slides down to rest on the lakebed. In the event of it becoming trapped in weed or snags, it will pull free, putting the angler back in direct contact with the fish.

Featuring an ergonomically designed moulded clip that allows fast and easy single handed attachment. This removes the problems associated with trying to hold the rod, line and backlead all at once. The clip itself is moulded from a highly friction free material which has unique properties allowing it to slide easily down either braided or mono mainlines. This helps both with positioning the backlead and when playing a hooked fish. Backleads are also useful when fishing multiple rod set ups, as they help to prevent other lines being picked up when playing lively fish.

Kwik Change Weights provide the angler with a multitude of balancing and weighting options. Available in four popular, practical sizes to cover a variety of uses, the weights attach securely onto the hooklink and unlike putty or shot will not move or become displaced during the playing of fish, or hard casting.

Supplied in a neat, spill proof dispenser with 2m of rubber tube wound onto the outside, the weights are attached simply by stretching a piece of the rubber tube and placing into the slot. This forms a totally secure fixture that will not damage the line. Once located the weight can be moved by moistening the line and gently sliding. To remove the weight simply insert a lip close baiting needle into the tube and pull free.
