The Elite Unhooking Mat is extremely well padded ensuring a protected barrier between carp and the ground and measures 1180mm x 800mm when opened out. The contact side has a special coating which helps to reduce mucus loss, that natural vital barrier that keeps the carp in good order. The clever design incorporates a raised outside edge which not only helps contain the carp in place but stops the run off of water this all helps to add extra protection. The base of the mat acts in a similar way to that of a beanbag, this has the effect of ‘gripping’ the fish helping to hold it in place. Incorporated in the design are six pegging points these allow the angler to pre-position the mat, especially useful in windy conditions. The convenient carrying handle plus quick release clips aid transportation. As with all unhooking mats please ensure that they are well and truly doused with water before the carp comes into contact with them.

The Stalker Unhooking mat is constructed from double sided PVC coated nylon which helps to keep the protective mucus layer on the fish intact. The mat is filled with a special fibre that compresses into a compact package for transporting, but will draw in air and expand when rolled out to provide a soft padded area for unhooking and photographing the fish.

The sides Velcro together to safely contain the fish when being carried while also making a superb portable ‘holdall’ when stalking. The material is waterproof, easily wiped clean and secured with a pair of straps when not in use.

The unique shape of the Safety Weigh Sling features two rigid parallel bars designed to provide essential support for the fish during weighing and returning. The design will not fold the fish up like others can and helps to distribute the weight evenly.

Attached to the bars are a pair of EVA handles for safely carrying the fish and a pair of rot proof cords fitted with steel rings for suspending the fish during weighing. The base of the sling is perforated for water drainage allowing accurate weighing of the fish, while both sides feature mesh venting panels and zips for easily accessing the fish and safely securing it during the weighing process.
