Mainlines attitude to carp baits has taken the guesswork and complexity out of putting together a winning, easy to roll combination. Our buying power allows us to use only the finest ingredients, shipping them from as far afield as Japan, New Zealand and Scandinavia. We then pack everything in the best-laminated foiled bags to ensure you buy the same quality off the shelf.

Taste, texture and palatability are essential considerations, because a carp, which finds a bait irresistible, is a catchable carp. We add amino based powdered enhancers and palatants, which not only serve to attract but also give a bait a 'round' taste to complement the initial attraction. Mainline's baits are tailored to be instantly acceptable, but the long life of bait is a vital ingredient of their success. Our mixes are consistently successful throughout a season and even season to season, which is important when you consider the time, money and effort spent on baiting campaigns.

The Response plus pellet are the latest innovation from the Mainline stable.
These 3mm food source pellets steep in Betaine are ideal for the latest trends in carp fishing. These pellets contain a high food source and betaine content thus insuring feeding fish to be more pre-occupied when feeding.
Application, bagging, spoding, carpet feed can be used in all fishing situations, available in two flavours.
Betaine superfish to be used in conjunction with savoury fish type baits. Red in colour.
Betaine superfruit to be used in conjunction with sweet type baits. Beige in colour.
Because of the size of these pellets, we recommend that you slightly dampen them down with water to ensure they break the surface tension of the water to ensure effective and accurate feeding.

The Grange, Assasin-8PT10, NRG, Activ Maple-8, Activ-8, The Fusion and Pro-Active Pineapple have all been made using the complete liquid additives that are used in the baits and again, these will help to boost attraction levels of hookbaits, pop-ups and pellets. Almost anything that you want to use can be 'over coated' with these soaks/dips because they are not water based and so will stay on the chosen bait for some time, not washing straight off as the bait hits the water.

A comprehensive range of flavours to suit everybody's needs. From fish to fruit to spice or savoury there is an attractor for every situation. A word on the use of solvents and flavour bases would not go amiss at this point. Generally the bulk of flavours available today use small amount of actual flavour on a high level of solvent base such as Ethyl Alcohol or Glycerol. These bulk solvents are the base of most flavours, but carp, such is their awareness, can easily recognise the commonly used bases. Having a variety of both flavour and a base of options such as in the Response Range gives the angler two variables to prevent using common combinations and spooking wary carp.

Mainline offer the highest quality powder dyes available, genuine value for money products - a little goes a long, long way. Used in the food industry they have remarkable resilience and stability, and they can be mixed together for a variety of colour permutations in finished bait

Pro-Activ Particle & Pellet Syrup has been specifically formulated to draw fish into the baited area and induce a competitive feeding response. The thick, syrupy liquid is designed to be denser than water, dispersing as it reaches the bottom and spreading a highly attractive cloud back to the surface. This ensures that fish are attracted from all levels in the water column and from distance too.
Pro-Activ Particle & Pellet Syrup contains liquid palatants, aminos and natural sugars all of which are highly effective and well proven feeding stimulants. The Syrup is convenient, easy to use and completely water soluble.
Designed to boost the attraction of prepared particles or pellets and to be a highly effective groundbait additive. Recommended dosage is 10mm per 1kg, but the natural attractors used make it impossible to overdose. Suitable for carp tench bream and roach
